TREE KWOK
Born in Hong Kong, Kwok is a millennial creative artist and freelance performing artist. Theatre actress, screenwriter, director and drama instructor.
Graduated from the School of Drama at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA), majoring in Acting.
She was a full-time actress at the Chung Ying Theatre Company from 2010 to 2012. In the summer of 2017, she visited France for further study with Philippe Gaulier. She is currently an acting instructor for the Full-time All-round Dramatic Arts Training programme at Radix Troupe and a guest lecturer at the School of Drama at HKAPA.
Kwok won the Outstanding Actress at Hong Kong Theatre Libre, and was nominated for the Best Supporting Actress (Tragedy/ Drama) at Hong Kong Drama Awards with At Last, We Met. She was nominated for the Best Actress (Tragedy/ Drama) at Hong Kong Drama Awards with 35th May; the Best Supporting Actress (Comedy/ Farce) at Hong Kong Drama Awards with Gap Life (Re-run); the Best Screenwriter at Hong Kong Theatre Libre with Freedom of Expression.
In 2014, Kwok created her first solo play, No One Party. The piece was rerun in collaboration with The Whole Theatre.
