Tsui Chin-hung

Hong Kong composer, guitarist. He wrote original music for Tsz Shan Monastery, Alea III (Boston) and Hong Kong Ballet. Tsui was the movie score producer and composer for the picture, Ciao UFO in 2019. In the same year, he produced the ending theme for the film, Master Cheng by Finnish director, Mika Kaurismäki. His latest film score production with director Fruit Chan in Coffin Homes is listed in the “Genre Masters” Section in the 20th New York Asian Film Festival.

Tsui has been invited to EUROPAfest and various music festivals in Asia. He is also very active in pop music production and performance. He has collaborated with singers including Coco Lee, Bibi Zhou, Kay Tse, Ivana Wong and Feanna Wong.
Tsui began his music studies as a pupil of  Choi Lap Hang, then a disciple of Irina Boutyrskaya. He was awarded the Outstanding Stylist Award by the Musician Institute and later studied film scores at UCLA. He then studied under the tutelage of Shostakovich's pupil Yakov Gubanov and graduated from Berklee College of Music with a Bachelor of Music in Composition and was given a scholarship during his study.
